KSC General Membership Meeting Information
The General Membership Meeting is taking place on Sunday, September 12, at Twin Lakes Beach, which is north of Kent just off State Route 43. The start time is 2:00 p.m. We will begin with a short meeting and afterwards attendees will be able to swim, weather permitting. Please plan on bringing a snack to share. Games or outdoor toys are always a big hit. We hope to see all KSC members there!

Cookie Dough, Popcorn & Bundt Cake Fundraising Program
Cookie dough and popcorn order forms are available in the Kent Skating Club mailbox at the rink. You can sell items now through October 8, and orders will be delivered on November 2 at the rink. This sale is usually a good fund raiser for us, so please help out the club by selling all you can! Questions should be directed to Teri Tacchio.

KSC General Membership Meeting

Kent parks are unavailable due to Art in the Park, so if you know of a nice park with a picnic shelter, please let Julie know. All members and their families should plan to attend the meeting. We'll have lots of valuable information, plenty of fun, and some prizes!

KSC Club Ice Punchcards
Punch cards will be going on sale after Labor Day. These will be good for 5 hours of skating at a cost of $85, which is a discount from walking on. More information on punch cards next week!

KSC Window and Windshield Decals
Kent Skating Club is currently selling window and windshield stickers at the monitor's box during Club Ice sessions. Presently, there are four different skate club and skating theme designs to chose from, each costing $5. If you want a custom sticker with your name on it, please contact Julie to let her know; if the club has at least 12 people wanting custom stickers we can have them printed for $1 extra per sticker. If you would like to see some more variety or have an idea for some other sort of design please contact Teri so she can see about fulfilling your request.

Ballet for Figure Skaters
Sarah White is offering Ballet for Figure Skaters at the rink this Fall. Help improve your flexibility and artistry with ballet. Ballet for Figure Skaters will be held on Fridays, Aug. 20–Dec. 17, in the Party Room at the KSU Ice Arena 10 minutes after the last General Session. Download the announcement/enrollment form to sign up for the class. Get the days and times for coordinating your calendar by downloading the class schedule.

2010–2011 Ice Contracts
KSC ice starts August 16 with ice on Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings. The 2010–2011 Club Ice calendar is available on the "Calendars & Schedules" page. 2010 Fall Ice Packets are available on the "Forms & Documents" page. Ice contract application forms are also available on the "Forms & Documents" page and will be due postmarked by August 6.

Garage & Yard Sale Fundraiser
Kent Skating Club's first fundraiser of the 2010–2011 season will take place on Thurs., Aug. 19 and Fri., Aug. 20 in Tallmadge. KSC's Garage & Yard sale has proved to be a dependable source of fundraising money for our membership in previous years, so gather up your extra hosehold items and bring them to the following address by Wed. evening or Thurs. morning:
